Painters Eastern Suburbs
Premium house painting for Eastern Suburbs homes, apartments and businesses, backed by a 5-year warranty.
Dupaint is a family-owned painting company based in Darling Point, delivering high quality painting services to homes, strata buildings and commercial properties across the Sydney Eastern Suburbs since 1998. Led by founder Maz Nassimi, our team of professional painters handles everything from a single room refresh to full exterior house painting, and every job is backed by a 5-year warranty.
Local Painters Based in Darling Point
Our Darling Point office is minutes from Double Bay, Edgecliff and Rushcutters Bay, so our team is never far from your job. As local painters who have completed work on every type of home in the area, we know the housing stock: Victorian terraces in Paddington and Woollahra, harbourfront homes in Point Piper and Vaucluse, and Art Deco apartment blocks in Elizabeth Bay and Bondi.
As Dulux Accredited painters and members of Master Painters Australia and the HIA, we follow manufacturer specifications on every paint job. Dupaint is also Taubmans Certified and a Haymes Paint Expert, fully licensed (Licence 494827C) and insured with $20M public liability cover.
Painting Services Across the Sydney Eastern Suburbs
Whether you need a fresh coat before a sale or a full repaint of a heritage terrace, our professional painting services across the Sydney Eastern Suburbs are tailored to the property, the surfaces and how you use the space. No job is too big or too small.
Residential Painting and House Painting
Our residential painting services cover houses, townhouses and apartments. We move and cover furniture, protect floors and benchtops, and leave each room clean at the end of the day, so you can keep living at home while we work.
Interior Walls, Ceilings and Trims
Interior painting includes walls, ceilings, doors, skirtings and architraves. We apply a two-coat Dulux system over properly prepared surfaces, which gives an even finish that lasts and can lift the value of a property before sale.
Exterior House Painting
Our exterior painting team repaints render, brick, weatherboards, eaves, gutters, fascias and fences. Weather-resistant products are specified for each surface, which matters in coastal suburbs like Bondi and Coogee. Every exterior painting job starts with thorough preparation.
Heritage House Painting
Terraces and Federation homes need specialised techniques to preserve original detail. Our heritage painting services restore timber, cornices and fretwork, and choose paint systems that suit older, weathered surfaces.
Strata Painting for Apartment Buildings
Strata painting services cover facades, hallways, stairwells and other shared spaces in multi-unit buildings. We schedule work to minimise disruption to residents and keep the finish consistent across every common area.
Commercial Painters for Eastern Suburbs Businesses
As commercial painters, we paint offices, retail fitouts, restaurants and hotels, including work completed at the InterContinental in Double Bay. Our commercial painting services are scheduled around your trading hours, so commercial buildings stay open and your business keeps running.
Decorative Painting and Colour Consultation
For something beyond flat colour, we apply Venetian plaster, microcement, marble effects and feature walls. Colour consultation services are free with every quote when you need them, which helps with pre-sale work and older properties.
Why Coastal Homes Need More Than a Fresh Coat
Salt air off Bondi, Bronte and Clovelly, harbour humidity around Rose Bay and Vaucluse, and strong UV on north-facing walls wear paint down faster here than in most of Sydney. The common signs are chalky render, peeling timber, rusting fixings and mould on shaded walls.
Lasting professional painting starts with surface preparation. We wash, scrape, sand, fill and spot-prime, and the preparation required is itemised in your quote. On weathered surfaces we apply protective coating systems designed for coastal exposure, so the finish holds up for years rather than months.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney?
The Eastern Suburbs are the suburbs between the Sydney CBD and the Pacific coast, stretching from the harbour at Watsons Bay south to Botany Bay. They mostly fall within the Woollahra, Waverley and Randwick council areas and include Paddington, Rose Bay, Bondi, Coogee, Randwick and Maroubra.
How much do painters charge per hour in Sydney?
Qualified painters in Sydney typically charge around $50 to $80 per hour, depending on experience, the type of work and access. Most painting companies quote a fixed price for the whole job rather than an hourly rate.
How much should I pay a painter per day?
A day rate for a qualified Sydney painter is generally $400 to $650 per painter. Complex preparation, heritage detail or scaffolding can push this higher.
How much does it cost to paint a 4 bedroom house in Sydney?
A full interior repaint of a 4 bedroom house in Sydney usually costs about $10,000 to $18,000, and an exterior repaint $12,000 to $25,000 or more. Two-storey homes, heritage features and coastal preparation can raise the cost. Costs vary by project, so see our Sydney house painting cost guide or book an on-site quote for an exact figure.
